A 22 year old Graduate of the Sunyani Technical University Wanye Wendy with the stage name Borewale will represent the Savannah region in the Face of Ghana Beauty pageant.
Borewale who studied Textile Design Technology is the current face of the Sunyani Technical University.
She is a model, both runway and photography, a lover of Fashion, Arts, music and modeling. She was also a model Trainer when she was at Sunyani Technical University.
In an exclusive interview with Bole based Nkilgi FM, Borewale appealed to the good people of the Savannah region to vote massively for her to win this year’s face of Ghana and bring the crown home. She added that winning the crown will also help project the Savannah region to the world.
Borewale is born to the late David Wanye from the Upper West Region and Madam Diabor Vida Fati from Bole, Savannah Region. Borewale is therefore a granddaughter of the late Jandrawura Diabor.
Borewale is a believer and strongly stand by the saying; “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. (Matthew 7:12a)
Participating in the Face of Ghana Contest will not only afford young Ghanaian women the opportunity to make their country proud but will provide the platform for the young women to gain exposure, access opportunites, as well as essential grooming and educational tit bits to aid them in thier activities.
