A popular Sports broadcaster and Football Commentator in the Savannah Region who is also a Presenter of Bole based Nkilgi FM Mudasiru Afari Techi aka Spydee has written on plans the Executives have for football in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.

Below is the full write up Mudasiru Afari Techi who is also the Deputy Secretary of Bole District Football Association:

The Bole District Football Association (BDFA) is the umbrella body responsible for all football activity in the Bole District.

Over the years the district has excelled in its football activities producing a Division One team (Amajande FC) which participated in the Zone 3 Division (1) league with its home matches played in Bole.

This ignited some passion for the game across the length and breadth of the district.

Unfortunately, football activities were not co-ordinated leaving its organization and funding in the hands of individuals and groups to grapple with. This created some challenges culminating in the collapse or near collapse of one the activities that have united the district over the years.

Earlier this year some individuals decided to bring life back into the game by reorganizing and putting in place structures that will lead to a successful restart of the various leagues in the District.

The aim is to get a team(s) to represent the district at the regional and national level which will inure to the benefit of the district in terms of exposure, development, employment, bring unity and togetherness.

In line with the above, a district level election was held earlier in the year to elect qualified people as officials of the Bole District Football Association.

The Chairman of the Bole District Football Association Mr Joachim Ewuntomah and his executives have duly constituted the various committees including Division (3) league committee, Juvenile football committee, Disciplinary committee, Finance and Marketing committee etc to run the affairs of football in the district.

To this end, a number of activities and programmes have been lined up to facilitate a successful football season. These include Maintenance of Parks (pitches), publicity, purchase of jerseys and beebs, first aid, footballs, Awards ceremony etc. These activities will require funding from benevolent individuals and institutions like you.
