The Coach of Damongo based Second Division team Mole Nationals has passed on to the shock of many residents of Damongo.
Mr Dari Seidu known in the football fraternity as “Coach “Kukudaze on Friday 12th June 2020 reportedly slumbered while at his tea selling joint in Damongo and was rushed to the West Gonja Municipal hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Mr Dari Seidu was the coach of Mole Nationals for many years and has won some laurels with the team. He coached the team to reach the MTN FA competition some years and was also vital in Mole Nationals winning the back to back the Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor (ll) Organised tournaments in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah region.
Mr Dari Seidu from reports looked healthy during his last training with the Mole Nationals team last Thursday 11th June 2020.
Many football players in Damongo town passed through the tutelage of Coach Kukudaze with some of the players currently playing with big teams in Ghana and abroad including Yussif Rayanu, (Ex Captain Wa African United), Issahaku Mubarik (Formerly of Wa African United) and Kraja Jalil (Captain Mole Nationals) as well as Mohammed Sanka (Russia), Abudu Issahaka (Tunisia), Sibeko Hemas (Swaziland) and others.
Mr Dari Seidu has since been buried on the same Friday 12th June, 2020 in accordance to Islamic tradition.
