The Bole District Football Association Executive Committee (Exco) unanimously agreed to Inaugurate their newly elected administration on 12th September, 2020.
This happened after the Executive committee members met on Sunday 26th July 2020, to discuss Football activities in the Bole District of the Savannah region after COVID-19 put slowed down football activities in the District.
The Chairman of the Bole District Football Association Mr Ewuntomah Joachim had earlier updated members on some deliberations at the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) meeting that took place over the weekend in Tamale.
Speaking to members of the Executive Committee, Chairman Ewuntomah Joachim explained that the Registration of clubs, owners and players will take place through the Register General’s office in Tamale for before the 2020/2021 football season begin (this include Clubs in the 5 Northern Regions). He said clubs will be recognised in the GFA/FIFA connect system after the Registration.
Mr Ewuntomah added that affiliation fees will be paid by clubs. He said it is expected that the Ghana Football Association (GFA), will open the next football transfer window from Saturday, August 15, 2020 and end on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in accordance with the GFA regulations.
The registration window will be opened to the 18 Premier League Clubs, 48 Division One League clubs, 16 Women’s Premier League clubs, 72 Regional Women’s Division One League clubs, Regional Division Two League clubs, Regional Third Division League clubs as well as the Juvenile League Clubs (U-13, U-15, U-17).
Clubs in Ghana have up to midnight (23:59 GMT) of October 31, 2020, to register the names of their players and officials for the new season in the FIFA Connect system.
Joachim Ewuntomah revealed that plans are far advanced to bring high profile coaches and club managers to Bole to train the Coaches within the Bole District to enhance their skills and capacity building especially for coaches,team officials and managements of teams in the Bole District of the Savannah region.
On the COVID-19 pandemic the Chairman of the Bole District Football Association said every region in Ghana is to be allocated $1,000 to support clubs to fight the Coronavirus.
He said the 2020/2021 football season is expected to kick start In the first week of October after GFA Exco’s meeting on Tuesday 14th July 2020.
The Executive council is however seeking the direction of the government of Ghana and the ministry of health’s on the future outcome of the covid-19 pandemic.
Talking on an office space for the Bole District Football Association, Mr Ewuntomah said the good news is that an office space has been given to the Bole District Football Association to run its administrative activities.
The office space is at the Bole Community Centre near a micro finance company (MASLOC).
