The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) the Bole Traditional Area of the Savannah Region has vast land which he is prepared to release to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for any development project that he wants to bring to Savannah region.

He said;
“On a Divisional Police headquarters we wrote letters to that effect, we will be very happy if we could be given a Divisional Police headquarters, we have vast land for the project and development”.

Bolewura assured the IGP that any time he want land for development he shouldn’t hesitate to come for it for developmental projects.

He urged the District Chief Executive (DCE) Madam Veronica Alele Heming to
add her voice to the quest for a Divisional Police headquarters.

The Bolewura made these comments when the IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare and the Police Management Board together with stakeholders vomited Bole District in the Savannah Region.

The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area encouraged the IGP to bring a
Police Training DEPO to Bole because he is prepared to release land for the project.

Adding, this will help the teeming school leavers to get recruitment into the Police service which will help reduce unemployment in the Bole Traditional Area and Savannah Region as a whole.

Bolewura said he appreciates the remarkable services of the IGP in the Bole Traditional Area.

He lauded the IGP when he and some members of the Police Management Board together with the Savannah Regional Police command embarking on a tour of the Savannah Region as part of the Police Administration’s Community Engagement Policing Strategy to ensuring safer Communities paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.

At the palace, Bolewura said, “We are at advantage to have you (IGP) in our mist today, your visit is historic, this is the first time we have seen you physically”.

He added;
“Your Police Commander here in Bole will testify to what I am saying, that Mr Dampare’s administration has brought calm to Bole Traditional Area”

According to Bolewura, happenings like armed robbery and illegal killings which use to be rampant in his traditional area has become a thing of the past and this is due to the ambiance and psychology surrounding the IGP’ Mr. Dampare’s administration.

He said Bole used to be in the news all the time with illegal killings but, since Mr Dampare came to take over the police service, people sit and see the good work from his officers and that alone has brought sanity into the society. Also, with the policies that the IGP has adopted the entire Northwest stretch from Bamboi up to Wa has experience some level of soberness.

The Bole Traditional Area Paramount Chief said every reasonable able citizen can at least live for about 7 to 8 hours daily and in the night you won’t even hear about cocks crowing.

He added; “We are no more afraid of anybody attacking us, thanks to the able administration of Dampare, so Mr Dampare may Allah grease your elbows and let you do more to bring peace and sanity across the entire length and breath of the country, you’ve done your part”.
