The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has presented some quantity of food items to the three Senior High Schools in Damongo town.
10 Bags of Maize, 20 Bags of Rice, 10 Bags of Gari and 5 Bags of Beans were presented to the Damongo Senior High School with the same quantity of food items presented to the Ndewura Jakpa Senior High School.
St Anne’s Girls Senior High school also received 5 bags of Maize 10 bags of rice, 5 bags of gari and 2 bags of beans.
At the Damongo SHS, Chief Dramani Kipo, Assistant Headmaster of the school in- charge of academic on behalf of the Headmistress thanked the MP for coming to their aid as there is nothing in the store room of the school.
He said the food items has come at the time the the school really need them and assured the MP of the judicious use of the food items.
Mr Abdul-Rahaman on behalf of the MP advised the students in the various schools after the presentation to take up their studies seriously since Hon. Jinapor is very much interested in their performance that is why he will do everything possible to come to their aid.
At the Ndewura Jakpa Senior high school Mr Abdul-Rahaman reminded them of the MP’s promise of helping to complete a fence wall for the school and also donate a pickup Vehicle to the school.
Mr Salifu Dy-Yakah on behalf of the Headmaster of Ndewura Jakpa SHS also applauded the MP for his intervention and assured the team of the official writing to the MP for his support.
