The Member of Parliament (MP) for Yapei-Kusawgu constituency in the Savannah Region Hon John Abdulai Jinapor has constructed a mini bridge on the Zanzugu to Yipala road at a cost of Gh¢14,500 cedis to facilitate easy movement of goods and services.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi fm, the constituency Secretary of the NDC for the constituency Mr Iddi Latif Atingpo said the road was split into two following persistent heavy rains and rendered it unmotorable.

Mr Iddi Atingpo said the MP quickly intervened upon getting the information as life becomes difficult for the people because of the nature of the road.

The Yapei- Kusawgu NDC constituency Secretary added that the people of Zanzugu could not cross to Yipala, and vice versa.

He said people of both communities came together to expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture.

In a related development, Mr Iddi said Hon. Jinapor has secured funding for the renovation of the Mankpang Health Clinic which is currently in a dilapidated state.

He added that work on the Clinic is expected to commence within one week.
