The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yendi Constituency of the Northern Region and Board chairman for the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Cooperation (GIISDEC), Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has described the MP for the Damongo Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor as the ”star boy” of the Savannah Region who the people especially in the Damongo Constituency must hold in high esteem.

Addressing a gathering of polling station executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Constituency executives, council of Elders/Patrons and other constituency party bigwigs in the Damongo Constituency during the annual delegates conference on 3rd September, 2021, Hon Farouk said the people of the Savannah Region must be thankful to Allah for having Samuel Abu Jinapor as their MP because he believes Hon Jinapor will turn around the living standards of the people which he is already doing.

The Yendi MP urged the people of the Savannah region especially the Damongo Constituency to be loyal and be committed to the course of the MP for making Damongo a great place.

Hon Farouk described the Damongo MP as a brother and a friend way back in 2001 and has in many benefitted from the Damongo MP.

Alhaji Farouk further urged the people of the Savanna Region to be thankful to the Akufo-Addo government for the creation of the region and the great projects springing up in the new region.

Meanwhile, the Yendi Constituency MP fonated Ghc10,000 to support the conference.
