The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole Madam Veronica Alele Heming has received items from the ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to contain the COVID-19 in the Bole district of Savannah region on 8th April, 2020.

The Ministry of Local government and Rural Development handed over 80 Veronica buckets, 22 liquid soaps, 40 pieces of sanitizers, 40 packs of tissue papers and 50 reflectors to the DCE to distribute to the people to curb the deadly corona virus.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM, Madam Veronica Alele Heming said the items would be distributed as soon as possible to vantage areas in the whole district.

The DCE urged the people of the Bole district to take serious the directives of the President to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus as the cases has increased from 214 to 287 as at 8th April, 2020.

The DCE also said as a word of advise to his people that the measures to contain the corona virus must be executed as health professionals have been advocating everyday especially, frequent washing of hands.

She thanked all politicians and philanthropist who have already supported with some of the logistics, and pleaded if those who have donated already can bring to her notice or list of areas where they have already positioned their items to make it simple for the assembly to do their distributions. 

The DCE said the assembly wants to make sure every community gets the logistics as the health of the people is dear to her heart.

“We have just received some of the logistics to help contain the COVID-19 in the Bole district from the ministry of local government and rural development. I heard of all those who have donated already and I want to pleaded with them to make the list of the areas the have positioned their items or institutions they have donated to, for us not to make mistakes for duplicate of the items at some areas, when some will also need some somewhere”; the DCE said.
