Management of Bole based Nkilgi FM on 2nd April, 2020 presented a food items to 21 quarantined ladies at Sonyo in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.

A number of individuals responded and made donations after the Bole based Radio station announced the plight of the ladies and called for assistance. The items donated include 3 bags of Rice,  3 mini gallons of Cooking Oil and 4 packets of Maggi Cubes.

Other items donated include 11 Tins of Milk,15 bowls of Local Rice, 1 bowl of sugar, 2 boxes of Lipton, 7 Mosquito nets and 20 bags of sachet water.

Earlier the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi Constituency Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana responded to the appeal by Nkilgi FM for assistance and donated 2 bags of Royal rice, a Veronica Bucket, tripod stand,  2 cans of oil, soap, 15 bags of sachet water, minerals (soft drinks), tissue papers, hand sanitizers and an amount of Ghc 200 to the twenty one (21) quarantined ‘Kayayie’ young ladies from Kumasi.

The Bole- Bamboi constituency Secretary of the National  Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Asumah Abdulai represented the MP and donated the items to the young ladies at Sonyo at a brief ceremony at Sonyo in the Bole District on Wednesday 1st April, 2020.
