The Office of the Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency has embarked on the annual constituency farmer program of distributing bags of chemical fertilizers to farmers across the Damongo Constituency.
Bags of chemical fertilizers including cutlasses, chemical sprays and other farm inputs are being distributed to farmers across the constituency after the MP’s office on Saturday, 29th April, 2023 commenced the 2023 edition of ploughing for farmers across the constituency.
Prior to Samuel Abu Jinapor’s becoming the MP for the Damongo Constituency in 2021, he stated that one his topmost five agenda for the constituency was the empowerment of farmers as that will help in job creation and alleviate poverty in most farming communities in his Constituency.
After winning the Damongo parliamentary seat, he has fulfilled his his promises especially in the area of Agriculture and the betterment of the lives of the people in his constituency through many social interventions.
Hon Abu Jinapor who is also as the Minister for lands and Natural Resources has since 2021 made it an annual event of supporting farmers in the constituency with fertilizer, Agro chemicals, cutlasses, Wellington boots and tractors to help reduce the high cost of ploughing that has bedeviled farmers in his constituency in recent times.
Mr Bawa Fuseini aka Capacity, who is the coordinator of the office of the Damongo MP in an interview with Bole based Nkilgi Fm explained that a lot is in the pipeline for the Damongo Constituency and urged everybody to support Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor.
Some of the Farmers interviewed said they have not regretted voting for the MP, noting that he has been very supportive in elevating their life’s and improving their income.
