Mr and Mrs Tee Nartey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ex- Tee Crystal Hotel at Bolgatanga with Madam Mary Korsah, an Educationist and Gender Activist on 14th May, 2023, put smiles on the faces of ten (10) Old Mother’s at Busunu in the West Gonja Municipal Assembly.
Among the old Mothers were the visually impaired and those who lost all their children.
Mrs Alice Nartey donated half piece of cloth each to the aged women as a special way of celebrating Mother’s Day.
Madam Mary Korsah in a short speech told the Old Mothers they wanted them to know that Mothers should be happy always because they are always Mothers of the world.
She added that Mother’s don’t need to be blessed by their biological children only to feel that wind of motherhood.
The old Mothers were full of smiles not for the gift, but for being recognised by the young and moving from their usual homes to mingle with each other once again.
Busunuwurche Azara Seidu, the Senior Queen mother of Busunu, thanked the women and encouraged them to be coming out once in a while to refresh their lives as God still cares for all.
