The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Organiser for the Savannah Region Nana Kwame Aboagye has lashed out at the aspiring Damongo Constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) aspirants dor Chairman Mr Musah Iddrisu aka Chairman Idri describing him as reaping what he has sown.
Speaking on Bole based Nkilgi Fm on 12th, 2022, Nana Kwame Aboagye said the NDC as a party especially in the Damongo Constituency is ‘condemned’ and can’t be on it’s feet again since many people supported the party in the past with huge amount of cash and resources bigger than what Chairman Iddri did but never got the recognition of the party’s leadership in the constituency and therefore not surprised that he is suffering the same fate.
The NPP Organiser for Savannah region said the case of Chairman Iddri is a reward that God is punishing him for what he Kwame Aboagye did for him only for him to use it in buying motorbikes for the NDC which his own party is pretending not receive because they have their preferred candidates for the elections ahead.
Nana Kwame prophesised that the Damongo Constituency will soon witness beatings amongst the NDC aspirans for executive positions.
He said people who took Damongo NDC as ”world cup” finals are today being fielded contestants against because they are not towing the lines of certain bigwigs in the constituency and advised that all the aspirants vying for positions should not waste their resources since no MP in the history of Damongo Constituency politics can match Abu Jinapor in terms of anything.
He called on everybody in the constituency to give Abu Jinapor more years to develop the Damongo Constituency since he has proven it in the few years in the constituency as the member of Parliament for the area.
There is a raging debate in the Damongo Constituency NPP as to whether the aspiring Chairman Mr Musah Iddrisu donated motorbikes to the party or not.
Mr Musah Iddrisu insisted he donated two motorbike to the party when he was a branch Chairman of in Damongo town.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi Fm’s morning show on 9th September, 2022, Chairman Idri said the motorbikes were donated to the NDC Constituency Chairman for Damongo popularly called Trouble and that he Chairman Idri has evidence in a photo he took with the Damongo Constituency executives of NDC on the day of the donation was made.
He said apart from the motorbikes he bused people to vote for NDC, bought Radio sets for NDC Communicators, bought phones for NDC Communicators and used to provide credit for them.
Meanwhile the current NDC Chairman for the Damongo Constituency denied he received any motorbikes from Mr Musah Iddrisu.
