The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has appealed to the Savannah Region Police Command to ensure no officer should henceforth stay in the Bole district for more than four (4) years.

The Bolewura made this appeal this at his palace on 12th September, 2021 when he invited the security agencies, the Bole District coordinating Director, Heads of departments, stakeholders and the Youth of Bole to his palace to discuss ways of findimg a lasting solution to upsurge of strange, killings as well as half burials of people Bole and its environs.

Bolewura at his palace said the killing of the innocent National Ambulance driver Mohammed Imoro on Sunday 4th September, 2022 is the 13th time the serial killing and halfway burials of known and unknown persons has happened in Bole.

Bolewura pleaded with the youth to keep their restraint as the security agencies are doing all they could to bring an end to the canker.

The Paramount Chief of Bole Traditional Area said at the gathering that the youth have lost confidence in Police and the entire security apparatus in the area and urged them to work hard to regain that confidence of the youth.

The Assemblyman for Mempeasem electoral area in Boke town Hon Shiraz-deen Mahama at the meeting said the people doing the criminal activities are in our houses and they are being shielded because people get money from them because through renting of their apartments.

Hon Shiraz-Deen said security of the district should be a shared responsible and not to be left on to the security only.

The Deputy Regional Police commander for Savannah region DCOP Fakye Kumi pleaded with the youth not to put the law in to their own hands and also be law abiding.

He said security investigations sometime takes time and that should not be seen as the Police refuaing to give updates on their investigations.

DCOP Fakye Kumi said the Bole district police commander has traveled to Accra to see how the Cyber crime unit can help get the killers of Mohammed Imoro Lackey and bring them to book.

He thanked the Bolewura his Chiefs for calling for that emergency meeting to see the way forward.

A youth leader called Abubakari Ibrahim aka Chairman Kapala said the police in the community are not to be trusted anymore.

He narrated a story of how he informed the Police about some Nigerians engaged in fraud and criminal activities but was later exposed.

After Chairman Kapala’s speech Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) made the appeal that no police officer should stay in Bole district for more than four (4) years.

The Youth of Bole became more agitated after the murder of a Driver of the National Ambulance Service in the Bole District, Mahama Imoro Luckey,

He is alleged to have been hit severally on his head with a block by unknown assailants at Mempeasem a suburb of Bole around the Bole LA Primary School.

Unconfirmed reports indicates, Mahama Imoro is believed to have been making a call when his assailants attacked him from his blind side hitting him on his head and he collapsed only to be seen by a passerby in a pool of blood and raised an alarm.

Mohammed Imoro was quickly rushed to the Bole District Hospital but passed on.

So far, no arrest has been made by the Police in Bole as residents awaits investigations

Mohammed Imoro has since been buried and his final funeral performed on Sunday 11th September, 2022.

Meanwhile the Alhaji Mahama family of Bole which Mohammed Imoro belongs is pleading with any member of the general public who might have information about the killer(s) to volunteer such information for a monetary reward of 5,000 Ghana Cedis (50 million old cedis).
