The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi constituency Hon Alhaji Yusif has donated 50 bags of cement to the Bodi community in the Bole District of the savannah region to start a kindergarten school block.
Speaking briefly at the donation grounds on 26th June, 2022, the MP mentioned that the people of the Bodi community requested support from him to start a kindergarten school block during his thank-you tour after the 2020 general election that he was retained, hence the donation of 50 bags of cement to the community.
Alhaji Yussif added that indeed God has provided the support through him to help build the kindergarten school block in the Bodi community so that the pupils will have comfort in their early childhood studies.
The MP pledged to do more for easier access to education in the area.
On behalf of the Bodi community, the Kakiase Electoral Area assemblyman, Hon Bougimetey Takyen Robert thanked the MP Alhaji Yussif Sulemana for responding to their request. He said the pupils have been suffering for long to have access to a conducive learning and environment and to avoid rains.
The Assemblyman said Teachers use a church facility in the community as a classroom to teach the children and that the MP has intervened at the right time.
Hon Robert added that he has written to the Bole district education director and the District Chief Executive (DCE) for support and during the MP’s thank-you tour, informed him of the support they needed.
