The 6th edition of the Northern Excellence Awards, NExA took place on 9th March, 2024 at ‘Aisha Homes’ in the Northern regional capital, Tamale.
The Northern Excellence Awards (NExA) which is the most prestigious Northern Ghana origin awards celebrates outstanding personalities in the academia, politics, civil society groups, philanthropist and traditional leaders who have impacted positively in the socioeconomic wellbeing of individuals and the society.
Mrs Joyce Bawah Mogtari who is a Special Aide to Former President John Dramani Mahama was honored as the “Most Outstanding Northern Woman of the Year”.
The General Manager of Bole based Nkilgi Fm and former PRO of the Gonjaland Youth Association was honored with the “Media Personality of the Year”.
Meanwhile Doliwura Dr AMS Zakaria who is the Assistant Controller & Accountant General, and the CEO of Doliwura Group of Companies and Alhaji Abu-Hassan Rhyzo, Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association and Member of the Black Satellites Management Committee were honored with Special recognition awards.
