The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Sammy Gyamfi has urged the people of the Savannah Region to join hands with the masses of the country to bring back John Dramani Mahama to power since the cry of every Ghanaian is the missing of the leadership style of the former President.

Addressing the media on Sunday 10th March, 2024 in Damongo after the NDC had organised a forum for party communicators to propel and equip them ahead of elections 2024, Sammy Gyamfi mentioned that the high-level delegation of the NDC consisting of Mrs Joyce Bawa Mogtari, Special Aide of HE John Dramani Mahama, Former Deputy Communications Minister, Mr Felix Ofosu Kwache, former Deputy Minister of Energy, Hon John Jinapor, Former Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, Member of Parliament (MP) for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahima, former MP for Damongo constituency, Hon Adam Mutawakilu and the Deputy National Communications Officer, Mr Maleek Basintale delegation, were in Damongo to train and to provide the necessary information and skills needed for party communicators for the battle ahead.

He stated that this 2024 election is a must win and that the NDC is leaving no stone unturned in the Savannah Region and mentioned further that the Savannah Regional executives of the party has declared already operation 7/7 which basically means that the party is winning in all the 7 constituencies which through hardwork is very much achievable in the December polls.

Sammy Gyamfi further said the communicators are poised for action and battle ready and that the program dubbed “Communicators forum ” has helped them enhance the communicators’ capacity after sharing with them information for the task ahead.

He on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama presented to the Savannah Regional NDC communications bureau a brand new pickup to enable effective grassroots communication including a laptop on behalf of the PRO of forum of the party.

Sammy Gyamfi finally assured the media of the NDC commitment to engaging them professionally for the development of the country.

The NDC Communication Officer for the Savannah Region R.A. Jalil said the primary objective of the workshop was to equip the members of the Savannah Region with the fundamental abilities and understanding necessary to carry out their duties as representatives of the NDC on media platforms.
 
He said; “To enhance the work of the Savannah Regional Communication Bureau, a brand new Mitsubishi L200 Pick-Up was presented by Hon John Abdulai Jinapor and handed over to the Savannah region Communication bureau by the National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi representing H.E President John Dramani Mahama.

RA Jalil added; “Also, the Savannah regional branch of the professional forum donated a brand new HP laptop computer to the bureau”.

He said distinguished individuals who delivered enlightenin presentations  on ithe subject of effective communication included the Aide to HE John Dramani Mahama, Mrs Joyce Bawah Mogtari, National Communication Officer Sammy Gyamfi, Deputy National Communications Malik Basintale and former Deputy Minister of Information Felix Ofosu Kwakye.

Other members of the NDC present at the forum included members of the Party’s Regional Executives committee, constituency communications officers, party communicators, and sympathisers.
