The National Democratic Congress Flagbearer H.E. former President John Dramani Mahama has donated GHc10,000 to Madam Ayi Abdulai, a former NDC Women’s Organiser for the Salaga North Constituency.

The money was handed over to Madam Ayi Abdulai through the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for the Salaga North Constituency Hon Alhassan Mumuni.

Madam Ayi Abdulai urgently needed the support to enable her undergo leg amputation and other medical expenses to which former President John Dramani Mahama responded after the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Salaga North Constituency notified the MP for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency who also informed
former President John Dramani Mahama.

The family of the former NDC Women’s Organiser for the Salaga North Constituency Madam Ayi Abdulai were full of praise for former President John Dramani Mahama.

Chief Nyakpala Zoona Mahamadua who is a brother to Madam Ayi Abdulai expressed much gratitude for the kind gesture and prayed for the Second coming of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Hon Alhassan Mumuni.

Meanwhile the NDC Communication Officer for the Salaga North Constituency Mr Issah Iddrisu issued a statement that;said; “We the members of the NDC in the Salaga North Constituency wish to express our profound gratitude to His Excellency JDM for his prompt response to support madam Ayi Abdulai, a former women’s organiser of the Salaga North Constituency to undergo surgery on her Leg”.

He stated that; “A delegation led by the MP for Bole-Bamboi Hon Alhaji Yussif Sulemana Ori presented an amount of GHS10000 to our comrade Sister and her family on behalf of the in-coming President HE John Dramani Mahama”.
