The Savannah Regional Minister Mr Saeed Jibril Muhazu has announced that a Commercial Radio station in the Savannah Regional capital Damongo which he established and fully funded is on Test Transmission begining 16th February, 2024.

Writing on his official Facebook account he wrote; “On Air Now 91.9 Mhz Spear Fm, Damongo”.

Many have since commended the Regional Minister for continuing to bring development to Damongo town.

Mr Muhazu Saeed Jibril is known to also be into Commercial farming which has employed many in the West Gonja Municipality and also has a functioning fuel station in Damongo town ttat is serving the people effectively.

On his latest business (Spear Fm) many have also taken to social media to commend him.7

A student Journalist Osman Abubakari- Sadique wrote; “Well done, Hon.
This is a huge investment and I pray it yields dividends”.

Mutaru Ndedosu also said; “You are development oriented and we cherish that. All your investments are in Damongo and this alone is commendable”.

Many in the past bemoned the lack Radio stations that will bring variety and choices of Radio programmes in Damongo the Savannah as in other Regional capitals

The Savannah Regional Minister’s Radio station (Spear Fm) adds to the two Radio stations in Damongo, that is, PAD FM and Kasha Fm a feat many see as part of the development process of the Savannah Regional capital.

The Savannah Region now have 8 functioning Radio stations. Besides three Damongo based Radio stations, there are two in Bole (Nkilgi Fm ana Yagbon Radio), one at Buipe (Jakpa Fm) and two at Salaga (Kan Fm and Magyk Fm).
