Former Deputy Minister of the Savannah Region and a deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Minerals Commission Mr Samuel Yeyu Tika has urged delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Daboya-Mankarigu to give him the nod to lead the the constituency to bring development to the area.

Speaking in Damongo after successfully going through the vetting process in Damongo on Friday 5th January 2024, Mr Samuel Yeyu Tika indicated that it is an MP’s duty to woo development for the area which the constituency is lacking.

He said even members of the NDC are calling on him to come and save the constituency in the development of the area.

Mr Tika further said it is unfair that some constituencies are developing whilst others are suffering because of an ineffective MP.

On party unity, the former Deputy Minister of the Savannah Region said he will unite the party for victory as he did in the past and mentioned that his character alone speaks of who he is as many of the delegates can testify as compared to others.

Samuel Yeyu Tika who is number 2 on the ballot called on delegates to give him the nod to lead the party in the constituency for the 2024 polls.

The Daboya-Mankarigu constituency is currently being occupied by Alhaji Asei Seini, a Deputy Minister of Health who is seeking reelection.
