Mr Sulemana Saaka, a Research Assistant and Spokesperson of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Salaga South constituency of the Savannah Region has rubbished allegations by Kelvin that Hajia Zuwera has said many times before her colleagues in parliament that her loyalty is not to the NDC and its leadership but to an individual MP in the Northern Region who helped her financially in contesting the Salaga South seat and that; “If you hear the kind of things this lady says about the NDC leadership and John Mahama in private conversations, you will be shocked about the level of hate she holds on her heart against John Mahama”.

Speaking on Bole based Nkilgi Fm’s morning show on 17th April, 2023, Mr Saaka said there there is no where the MP for Salaga South has ever been heard speaking against former President John Dramani Mahama and that said allegations started since 2019 after Hajia Zuwerah won the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary primaries in the constituency but she di not only work hard to snatch the seat from a New Patriotic Party (NPP) government Regional Minister but worked to increase the vote margin of former President John Dramani Mahama.

The Research Assistant and Spokesperson of Hajia Zuwerah Ibrahimah said nobody has ever shown evidence to those claims even though he ever heard people say they have audios.

He asked; “What evidence have they sent to Kelvin Taylor who leveled the allegations to support their claim?

Suelmana Saaka added; “They should have been able to get Kelvin Taylor a video of Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah and the people they are claiming she works with in a meeting campaigning or drawing plans against John Dramani Mahama”.

He said it is just hate they are carrying since the last primaries she won and also won the general election becoming the only female MP in Savannah Region and Northern Ghana.

Mr Saaka disclosed that the Salaga South MP campaigned fully with former President Mahama as the Presidential candidate of NDC in 2020 and their relationship has been cordial.

He cited an example of the Salaga South MP, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, together with Former President John Dramani Mahama commissioning  a six-unit classroom block with other ancillary facilities at Bagabaga Community in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region on Thursday 9th February, 2023.

Popular US based media personality Kelvin Taylor in post on his ‘Loud Silence Media’ Official facebok page on 15th April, 2023 said Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah who is the MP for Salaga South on the ticket of the NDC should not be NDC’s Parliamentary candidate going into 2024.

Kelvin Taylor who gave reasons said in 2020 Zuwerah pulled 20525 and the NPP candidate for Salaga South also got  19086 and that in sum effect, Hajia Zuwera won with just 1439 votes”.

Kelvin Taylor also said; “Interestingly, John Mahama a person this lady in question has no regard for pulled more votes in Salaga South in the 2020 elections than Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah”

He added that she Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah is arrogant, not a team player and above all petty.

He said; “Zuwera has said many times before her colleagues in parliament that her loyalty is NOT to the NDC and its leadership but to an individual MP in the Northern Region who helped her financially in contesting the Salaga South seat”.

Kelvin Taylor added; “I know she has money and will throw money around because she’s part of the treacherous few NDC MPs in Parliament who negotiated their votes on critical national issues for personal gains against the directive of the party”.

Kelvin Taylor; “But I need to remind the NDC that With how Abu Jinapo is ready to pump money into Salaga South for the NDC to lose that seat, If the NDC delegates in Salaga South makes the mistake to retain Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah as their Parliamentary Candidate, the party should consider that seat gone to the NPP in 2024 Polls. This is Not a Joke!”.
