The Tradirional enskinment of UK based Lawyer and Pilot Mr Solomon Salifu Tampuri as Kanyepe-wura of the Bole Traditional Area has been scheduled for Friday 4th May to Saturday 6th May, 2023.

The Damba Dance of Lawyer Tampuri will take place on the night of Thursday 4th May to the morning of Friday 5th May, 2023.

The enskinment ceremony of Lawyer Tampuri will also take place in the morning of Friday 5th May, 2023 at the Bolewura’s Palace with the Outdooring taking place on Saturday place at Bolewura’s Palace on Saturday 6th, 2023 at the Bolewura’s Palace. On same Saturday there will be a reception at the Plush Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge (Bole Dubai) in the afternoon.

It would be recalled that on Friday 17th November, 2022, the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) and the Elders of the Safope gate of Bole nominated Lawyer Solomon Salifu Tampuri as a sub- Chief of the Bole Traditional Area of Gonja responsible for the Community of Kanyepe-wura (formally
Kogeriyiri) which is located in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region.

Lawyer Solomon Salifu Tampuri hails from the Safope Royal Gate of the Bole Traditional Area.

He was born on 24 September 1970 to late Kalbawura Samuel Abudulai Tampuri Seidu (1920- 2006) and Mufumba Bakari, a Gonja from Daboya.

Lawyer Solomon Salifu Tampuri spent his formative years in Tamale, Takoradi, Accra and Kumasi before moving to the United Kingdom for further studies.

Mr Tampuri is an accomplished Barrister, Pilot, and the CEO of Tamsons Legal Services.

He studied law at the University of Greenwich and the Inns of Court School law in London (now City University).

A member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, Lawyer Solomon Salifu Tampuri was admitted to the English Bar in 2009.

Mr Tampuri is an aviation enthusiast and a qualified pilot. He holds a private pilot’s licence and is a member of the North Weald Flying Club in Essex, UK.

He is the author of the book Gonja, the Mandingoes of Ghana published by Xlibris in 2006.

Lawyer Solomon Salifu Tampuri is widely travelled and has visited over 70 countries world-wide. He is fluent in English and 5 Ghanaian languages including his mother tongue Gonja, Dagbani, Hausa, and Twi.

Mr Tampuri was instrumental in reviving the Gonjaland Association, UK & Ireland. He became the Vice-President of the association.

During his time, he advocated strongly for the creation of a Gonja Region (Savannah region), including publishing an article to that effect in the Ghanaian Media.

Lawyer Tampuri Known for his Pan-African views, has given public lectures in several countries including Russia and Saudi Arabia.

He is a devout Muslim, a mentor, a husband, and a father of four young children.
