The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole- Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has on 14th October, 2022, donated 1,180 pieces of mathematical sets to Ghana Education Service (GES) Director for Bole District for onward distribution to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates who are to write their exams next week.

The donation which was done on behalf of the MP by his Public Relation Officer Mr Iddisah Tahiru Omega and some incumbent Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Bole- Bamboi Constituency is in fulfillment of the pledge of the MP to help BECE candidates with a mathematical set every year. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has since donated Mathematical Sets to Junior High school students since he became MP in 2017. He often recounts his inability to purchase a mathematical set before he sat for his BECE in 1990 leasing to his loving mother running round to get one for him.

The MP has since vowed to prevent any BECE candidate in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency to be in the situation he was.

The PRO of the MP Mr Tahiru Iddisah Omega speaking to Bole based Nkilgi Fm, on behalf of the MP, admonished the candidates to take their studies seriously.

The Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the Bole District, Mr Yahaya Sulemana on behalf of the students and parents thanked the Hon MP for the kind gesture.

He pledged that the students in the Bole District will put the mathematical sets into good use and excel in their BECE.

The short ceremony was held at the forecourt of the Ghana Education Service in Bole.
