Founder of the Naada Jinapor Foundation, Mrs Naada Biljo Jinapor has commissioned a water storage facility at Mansie, a farming community in the Kintampo South Municipality of the Bono East Region.
The project consists of a 10,000-liter capacity poly tank, an underground reservoir and a tap system.
The timely intervention of installing the reservoirs will store excess water flowing from the top of the mountains which over the years had been wasting.
The intervention by Mrs Jinapor will provide a hygienic place for tapping potable drinking water for the farming folks.
The water project is expected to serve about 3700 people and also store some 2641 gallons daily.
Naada Jinapor in a speech said she was very happy the facility has finally been handed over to the people. She appealed to the community to make good use of the facility adding that water is life and clean water means a healthy life.
