The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) in collaboration with the Bole District Assembly handed over site to Beksfel Construction limited for the construction of an ultra modern Bole District Audit Service office.
The Ghana Audit service has the mandate to ensure financial sanity and accountability in public offices.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi fm at the brief handing over of site in Bole on 16th January, 2022, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole Madam Veronica Alele Heming said she was delighted to witness the construction of the offices in her second tenure in office.
She acknowledged all stakeholders in the district and thanked the President Nana Akufo-Addo for choosing Bole as part of the nineteen beneficiary districts of Ghana.
The DCE said; “the projects started in 2006 and Bole was selected out of the five regions of the North and so the Chiefs and people of Bole District people appreciate and wish to thank government for that”.
The Bole District Auditor Mr Seidu Issifu commended government for coming to their aid to build the new office.
“Since 2006 our office has been at the District assembly with just two offices but we are about fifteen in number in these small offices managing”.
The Bole District Auditor said; “The project is a nine months contract one with seed money already made available and the project is being sponsored by the Government of Ghana and KFW of Germany”.
He said they had several stakeholders meeting with government and the contractor and they assure the people of Bole that after completion of the project it will be use judiciously for the benifit of Bole District”.
