A 31 year old business man Abdul-Razak Bawa Doshie has declared his intent to contest as Second vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Salaga South Constituency.

He described the move to occupy the position as ‘a peoples call’

In a statement released by the aspirant himself, he said he has adequately consulted the necessary stakeholders and hopeful of getting the endorsement of the delegates.

“We need to reclaim our lost seat and this is the time to bring young and active person’s onboard to move around with speed to canvass for votes to reclaim our seat”

The statement added; “Serving the New Patriotic Party is an act of patriotism and call to service to the party and the very core grassroots”

He indicated, his first priority will be together with other executives lead a united NPP front to reclaim the lost NPP seat.

The aspirant has since 2008 mobilized the youth to vote the new patriotic party.

In 2016, his efforts at the grassroots level contributed to adding some votes to the NPP.

Meanwhile three other individuals have expressed interest in contesting for same position.
