A young beautiful lady from Busunu in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region Miss Christiana Abibata Gabby has been selected from among several other contestants nationwide to represent the Savannah Region at this year’s edition of TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant.
The GMB pageant seeks to unearth the tenacity and talents of young girls in the area of the socio-cultural values, economic and tourism potentials of the nation and particularly their individual regions.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM, Miss Christiana Abibata Gabby called on the people of the Savannah Region to extend a massive support for her just as they did for Ruky (2014 GMB Northern Region Rep.), Aisha (2015 GMB Northern Region Rep), Hiba (2016 GMB Northern Region Rep.) and Kasha who is the first contestant for the Savannah Region last year (2019).
Asked where she comes from, Christiana said she is the daughter of Mr Gabriel Dari Gabby of Busunu who is grandson of Busunuwura Leseni Gbanso (II) and Busunuwura Amankwah Kokor and my mother is Madam Elizabeth Dewan Gabby of Daboya, who is also a granddaughter of Yagbonwura Awusi Bonyanso.
Christiana said; “the Ghana Most Beautiful is a great platform that help people expose their cultural values and economic potentials”.
The Savannah Region Representative for the GMB added; “the crown is for Savannah Region this year and I will do my best in the house to bring the crown home but I call on the people of the Savannah Region to support me”.
Christiana said her code number will soon be out and will let the people know it as soon as it comes out.
