The Bole Traditional Council under the leadership of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has unveiled a new skin lands allocation form effective 11th May, 2020.
The Secretary of the Bolewura Haruna Abudulai Obey told Nkilgi FM that the new land allocation document shall be used by all Chiefs across the Traditional Area for skin lands transactions.
He said the significance of this universal land issuance document is to bring a lasting solution to land litigations and to protect skin lands rights at all times.
According Haruna Abdulai Obey, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has therefore urge the general public, Churches, Islamic institutions, Mobile Network Companies to at all times contact the Community Chiefs for proper land allocation.
He said the Bolewura futher notifies everyone that in order to avoid land litigation, it is imperative that everybody buy land from authorised persons (Chiefs).
The Bolewura’s Secretary said it is also necessary to ensure that everybody comply with the rules on land acquisition and as well do a thorough due diligence and register an interest in the land with the Customry Land Secretariat (CLS) office Bole.
Haruna Abudulai Obey said it is critical that one approach every land transaction by dealing with the right people.
He said the general public should treat Bolewura’s directive on land acquisition with the importance and urgency it deserves to prevent land litigations in the Bole Traditional Area.
