Kawute originally known as Suraj Adams is the 2015 Reggae and Dancehall Artist the Year at Upper West Music Awards.
He from Bole but based in Accra. Kawute is a versatile artiste who can ride on any instrumental.
AKPA records is a newly found record label in Savannah Showbiz managed by Mr Mumuni Ibrahim a native of Daboya but based in Bole.
Kawute has been officially signed into AKPA records and will be embarking on new projects soon.
