The Aide to the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Central Gonja District Mr Osman Sulemana Kunkarga and some NPP activists in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency (same as Central Gonja District) have threatened to beat the outspoken and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Secretary for the Yapei- Kusawgu constituency Mr Latif lddi Atingpo (l) any time he comes to Buipe.
These threats came immediately after the NDC Secretary who is mostly based in Yapei the Constituency capital described the NPP Parliamentary  candidate for the Constituency Mr Abu Kamara as “Concert Party” parliamentary candidate on Bole based Nkilgi FM.
The Yapei-Kusawgu NDC Secretary also called on Mr Abu Kamara to resign for running away from his own voice in a leaked Tape which is making news, in which he (Abu Kamara) rejected Akufo Addo and0 embraced John Dramani  Mahama. The Parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Yapei- Kusawgu Constituency of the Savannah Region.
The NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Yapei-Kusawgu  Constituency Mr Abu Kamara in an audio that sound exactly like his voice saying his target is not for President Nana Akufo-Addo to win the 2020 election as President but to kick out the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency Hon John Abudulai Jinapor and bring development to the Constituency.
However the Aide to the DCE for Central Gonja Osman Sulemana Kunkarga and some NPP activists unleashed threats on the NDC Secretary for the Constituency Mr Latif lddi Atingpo (l) on a WhatsApp platform called “Union FM 98.1MHz”.
One of the messages from the DCE’s Aide posted on the WhatsApp group on 16th May, 2020 reads; “We will beat you anytime you step your foot in Buipe….”.
A second message from Mr Osman Sulemana Kunkarga said; “Stay at your house and never come to Buipe”.
There were other threatening messages from some NPP activists on the same platform.
The NDC Secretary for the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency Mr Latif lddi Atingpo (l) disclosed to Bole based Nkilgi FM that he will make an official complaint to the Buipe Police not because he fears but for records purposes.
