The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole Madam Veronica Alele Heming, has said that everything is on course in making sure the Bole District is developed for the betterment of the people.
The DCE for Bole was speaking at the Second Ordinary Meeting Of The Eighth (8th) Session Of The Seventh (7th) Batch Of The Bole District Assembly yesterday 29th August, 2019.
The Bole DCE in her co-ordinated report, highlighted the achievements of the Bole District Assembly in the Health sector, Security, the Financial position of the Assembly, Education, Technology and Agriculture among others, explaining that everything is on course in making sure the Bole district is developed.
She also appealed to the entire district to stop the stigmatization of persons living with HIV/AIDs in the Bole district.
She ended her address by thanking everyone for the continues support from members and pledged to have a fruitfully deliberations always.
The Presiding Member (PM) of the Bole District Assembly, who doubles as the assemblyman for the Mankuma electoral area, Hon Abu Sumani Thompson has warned that much work is expected to be done in revenue collections in the Bole district of the Savannah region.
“You see Peasant farmers tasked to be revenue collectors in the district, few months down the lane,they start putting up mansions”? he said during his remarks adsing “it is either money collected is not giving out, or there is totally negligence of duty”
The Presiding Member again in his remarks highlighted the need to put to a stop in encroachment in the Bole district explaining that the issue has been a headache for the district assembly all in the name of being “Indigenes or Natives”.
The assembly sitting was attended by Hon Assembly Members, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi constituency Alhaji Yussif Sulemana, Heads of department, the security, Chiefs and opinion leaders among others.
