The Registrar of the Gonja Traditional Council Mr Abutu Kapori has bid farewell to the Council headed by the King and Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale (I), after many years of service.
Mr Kapori handed over his role as the Registrar of the Gonja Traditional Council to Mr Christian Kudjoe Kuki.
He formally introduced his successor Mr Kukie to the King and Overlord of Gonja, the Chiefs and Elders during a traditional council meeting held at the premisses of the Yagbonwura on Thursday 25th April 2024 in Damongo.
Mr Abutu Kapori outlined his achievements in his role as the Registrar and promised to still work very hard for the Gonja Kingdom anytime his assistance is needed.
He also begged for forgiveness from anyone that he might have wronged during his course of duty as he has forgiven all those that have wronged him.
He however indicated that the new Registrar will surely be taken through all that he needs to know at the office with the proper handing over in the coming days.
