The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole, Madam Veronica Alele Heming in the Savannah Region has handed over its first (1st) Gulf of Guinea Social Cohesion (SOCO) Project, which is the expansion of the Shea butter processing factory at Chache a border Community to the Women of the Community on Friday 16th February, 2024.

In an interview with Bole based Nkilgi Fm Madam Veronica Alele Heming said the expansion project will benefit the people of Chache and it’s surroundings as the Assembly has also provided the market women with a shelling machine to process and make efficient the processing of Shea butter productio.m to Ghanaians.

The Bole DCE call for a good maintenance culture of the facility and also entreated the beneficiaries to take the advantage of the facility to maximise the longevity of the facility to their advantage

Madam Veronica Alele Heming, thanked the Government of Ghana and it’s allied partners for sponsoring the much needed intervention.

She said the massive improvements made by the Assembly is very momental and needs accolades, adding such interventions will go a long way to alleviate the hardship s that Shea processing go through to make Shea butter. She said the maintenance culture of the facility will be taken seriously.
