The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole- Bamboi Constituency Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana has donated four (4) motorbikes and fifteen (15) mattresses to the Bole District Health Directorate for quality health care delivery in the district.

At a brief handing over ceremony in Bole, the MP acknowledged the role health personels are playing in the district. He said the donation forms part of his commitment in bringing quality health care to his constituents.

Alhaji Yusif Sulemana added that a joint needs assessment conducted with the District Health Management Team (DHMT) indicates that, some of the communities within the facilities can’t be reached due to lack of motorbikes and it is at this backdrop that he used part of his MP Health Insurance Fund to procure the items.

He further said, “We have also decided to buy a number of mattresses for the Bamboi Polyclinic because it was an eye- sore when I visited there and saw the way some of the patients were lied on the floor”.

The Health facilities in the Bole Disteicr to receive the motorbikes include Kui CHIPS, Konjuma Clinic, Bale CHIBS and the Health Promotion Unit of the Bole District Health directorate.

The Bole District Health director Ndapewurche Hajia Fuseina Sulemana expressed her gratitude to the Hon. MP. for his swift response to their health needs and challenges .

She appealed to all stakeholders to support them to deliver their core mandate to the people since the delivery of quality health care is a shared responsibility. She assured the Honorable MP that the items will be put into productive use.

The Bole District Health Director added that; “We are grateful for receiving such motobikes because we cant reach some of the facilities easily”.
