The MP for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Parliamentary Candidates of the NDC for the 2024 parliamentary elections, Hon Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has congratulated Mr. Raphael Kumah Abolasom for being elected as the Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
In a press release, Mr. Tahiru Iddisah Omega, Spokesperson to the Bole-Bamboi MP, Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana commended the remarkable victory of Mr. Raphael Kumah Abolasom in the recent NPP ‘s Parliamentary primary held on Saturday 2nd December, 2023.
Omega said, the overwhelming votes Mr. Raphael Kumah garnered truely shows the massive support his party delegates imposes in him. Mr Raphael obtained 407 votes against his sole contender David Sei Demah who had 172 votes.
The Bole MP averred that, while they may belong to different political parties, he recognize and respect the effort Mr. Raphael Kumah invested in his campaign which resulted in him being elected as parliamentary candidate of the NPP in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
The Bole MP also said; “As we move forward in the political landscape, I hope that we can find common ground and work towards the betterment of our shared constituency. It is through collaboration and open dialogue that we can address the challenges we face and make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow citizens.”
Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana further said he looks forward to engaging in a spirited and respectful exchange of ideas going into the 2024 general elections; rather than needless tribalism, personality attacks and propaganda that has the potential of dividing and creating needles rancour among the good people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
