The Bole Traditional Council under the leadership of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) is demandimg an urgent unqualified apology from Dr Adam Bona to the Bolewura and the Gonja state.
The council also demands an urgent retraction of same statements made by Adam Bona and suggest he should rather focus on the real situation on the ground because; ‘He who knows it, feel it better'”.
A statement signed by the Bolewura’s Secretary on 15th September, 2022 and copied to Bole based Nkilgi Fm said; “the attention of Bole traditional council under leadership of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has been drawn to comments made by Adam Bona, a Security Analyst; on the Class Fm 91.3 during the evening news on the 15th of September, 2022, to the effect that; ‘Bolewura Kutuge Feso (I) Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area has no right to give a directive about the transfer or movement of a police personnel who stayed in Bole for 4 to 5 years from Bole to other areas or Communities, adding that it takes a lot of expenditure into consideration specifically their belongings and other things from one place to the other, and that, it is the government who incurs such expenditure and not the Bolewura and for that matter, the Bolewura has no right to make such a directive’.
The Bolewura’s Secretary stated; “He (Dr Bona) further stated that in his opinion, the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) should have deliberated on such issue with stakeholders behind the scene”.
Mr Abdulai stated that; “This statements made by Adam Bonaa, which the Bole traditional Council considers as a personal attack and described as most unfortunate, ill informed, an attempt to belittle the integrity and appellation of the visionary Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area should be condemned in no uncertainty”.
