The Paramount Chief of Kong Traditional Area, Kongwura Jinkurge (I) has called for the immediate attention to address developmental deficits in his traditional area.

During the celebration of the Damba festival of the Chiefs and people of Kong in the Savannah region dubbed “KODA FEST’23, and on the theme; “Unity,Peace and Development: the Youth as a factor” on 15th October, 2023.

Kongwura Jinkurge (I) highlighted to the distinguished guest and gathering various challenges saddling his traditional area, he mentioned the terrible road which is inmotorable entering into the town, lack of a standard school, lack of a clinic, lack of potable water and the town is not connected to the national grid and also mobile network connectivity. These are basic necessities for the development of every community.

He added, “we are making frantic efforts to get these basic needs of life into the area”

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama paid a glowing tribute to the Kongwura and his people, he said, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama come election 2024 will be the president of Ghana and has assured the people of Kong and Savannah region to work tirelessly to bring development to their door steps.

The Bole MP assured Kongwura to be rest assured because most of the challenges like poor road network, lack of a standard school, lack of a clinic, lack of potable water and the town not connected to the national grid and also mobile network connectivity will be address in two years as a president.

The MP for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, Hon. Andrews Chiwitey admonished the youth to be patient in the present economic mess that Ghanaians are facing.

According to him the President Nana Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia led government has been a failure to the youth, therefore they should remember to vote former President John Dramani Mahama into power come 2024 elections.

Hon. Andrews Dari Chiwitey eulogized the sterling performance and leadership of Kongwura Jinkurge (I).
