The Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor (II) has inspected some developmental projects put together and funded by himself to complement government’s efforts geared towards improving the socio-economic development of his traditional area.

The self initiated projects which are carefully implemented and ongoing in the Buipe township are medium and long term developmental projects, when completed will boost all sectors and improve the standards of livelihood of the people of the area.

The projects covers education, health, sports, agriculture, spatial planning and development among others.

Buipewura Jinapor visited the Buipe Senior High School where he is putting up a six(6) unit self contained apartment for teachers of the school. These according to Buipewura is his way of contributing to quality education in his traditional area as accommodation is a major problem for teachers in the school. The project which is about 95% complete would be commissioned soon and handed over to the school soon according to Buipewura.

He later visited the Buipe Vocational Institute where he interacted with female students occupying the Jinapor House,a dormitory he built for the school. He advised the girls to study very hard since the world is now ruled by women.

He immediately asked for the renovation of the dormitory which has been named after him.

Other places he visited included Buipewura Chinchanko Community Center where he is expanding the facility to
to boost entertainment and offer auxiliary services to the community. The project has been named after late Buipewura Chichanko to appreciate his contributions and legacies to the gonja kingdom and the Buipe traditional area.

The Buipe Cattle Market was his next place of visit as he is putting efforts to improve and strengthen a clean environment especially the drainage system in the kral.

The Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional area will further visit some other projects in the Buipe traditional area in the coming days according to him.
