The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Yusif Sulemana through the constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Alhassan Kassim and his spokesperson, Mr Tahiru Omega on Friday 10th March, 2023 handed over an amount of GHc3,000 to the Bole District Police commander, DSP Benjamin Buxton as his contribution to ensure that Const. Padmore Gyasi who sadly died through a motorbike accident at Maluwe in the Bole District some weeks ago is given a befitting burial.
The amount according to DSP Buxton would afford him the opportunity to carry as many men as possible to Offinso in the Ashanti region where the late officer will be laid to rest.
The Bole Police Commander used the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Bole MP for his continued support and cooperation to him and his men, making their work smooth in the district.
The Chairman of NDC for Bole Alhaji Alhassan Kassim on behalf of the Bole MP, pledged that the doors of the MP and the NDC party are always open and ready to assist the security in the discharge of its duties to rid the district of crime.
He also briefed the Bole Police commander on the efforts of the MP in making sure the interior ministry deploys more men and equipment to augment the current numbers in the district.
