Chief Security analyst Dr Adam Bona has expressed disappointment about the pronouncements made by the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) over the weekend to make sure police officers posted to the Bole district do not stay in the area for more than a period of 4 years.
Dr Bona speaking on Accra Class Fm monitored by Bole based Nkilgi Fm explained that the work of traditional rulers is different from the security services for that matter the Paramount Chief of Bole should remain silent whilst the Police continue to do their job in his traditional area.
The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) appealed to the Savannah Region Police Command to ensure no officer should henceforth stay in the Bole district for more than four (4) years.
The Bolewura made this appeal at his palace on 12th September, 2021 when he invited the security agencies, the Bole District coordinating Director, Heads of departments, stakeholders and the Youth of Bole to his palace to discuss ways of findimg a lasting solution to upsurge of strange, killings as well as half burials of people Bole and its environs.
Meanwhile the Bole Traditional council under leadership of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) says its attention has been drawn to comments made by Adam Bonaa, a Security Analyst on the Class Fm 91.3 (Accra) during the evening news on the 15th of September, 2022, to the effect that; “Bolewura Kutuge Feso (I) Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area has no right to give a directive about the transfer or movement of a police personnel who stayed in Bole for 4 to 5 years from Bole to other areas or Communities, adding that it takes a lot of expenditure into consideration specifically their belongings and other things from one place to the other, and that, it is the government who incurs such expenditure and not the Bolewura and for that matter, the Bolewura has no right to make such a directive”.

Dr Bonaa further stated in his opinion that the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) should have deliberated on such issue with stakeholders behind the scene.
Mr Haruna Abdulai Obey said the statements made by Dr Adam Bonaa are considered by the Bole traditional Council as a personal attacks, most unfortunate, ill informed and an attempt to belittle the integrity and appellation of the visionary Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area should be condemned in no uncertainty.
According to Mr Haruna Abdulai Obey, the Bole Traditional Council demands an urgent unqualified apology from Dr Adam Bonaa to the Bolewura and the Gonja state.
He said; “The Bole traditional council also demands an urgent retraction of same statements made by Adam Bonaa and suggest he should rather focus on the real situation on the ground because; “He who knows it, feel it better”.
