The Paramount Chief of the Kpembe Traditional area of Gonja, Kpembewura Bangbange Ndefoso (IV) has donated a motorbike, Refrigerator and a set of Table and Chairs to the Kpembe Community Health-Based Planning Services compound (CHPS compound).
Donating the items on behalf of the Kpembewura at his Palace on Monday, 12th September, 2022 at Salaga in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region, a sub- Chief Mabuwura Asumani Yakubu said, one of the key areas of which the paramount Chief is passionate about is health care delivery in the area, hence the need for donation of the items by the Kpembewura to help enhance and boost the activities of health care delivery in the area.
Receiving the items, the East Gonja Municipal Health Director, Mr Zakaria Abdul Kassim said the donation by the Paramount Chief chief came at the right time and will go a long way to help promote health care services in the area.
He said, the items will be used for their intended purpose and admonished members of the area to keep their eyes on the activities of health professionals and report any staff with bad behavior to the hospital for the appropriate actions to be taken on such persons.
Mr Zakaria Abdul Kassim on behalf of the hospital expressed gratitude to the Kpembewura for the gesture and assured him of their proper usage.
