The Bole Senior High School (SHS) has has awarded over 120 students best performing students at a ceremony on Saturday 27th of November 2021 under the Ghana Education Service Secondary Education Improvement project (SEIP).

According to the Bole SHS Headmaster, the programmme is funded by SEIP which is a World Bank and Government of Ghana project.

He commended the students 120 students for putting out their best in lifting the name of the school.

Rev. Fr. Corlenius Begua Termaghre also commended Teachers of Bole SHS for always working hard to make sure the future of the students is bright.

He apologised to the Teachers and assured them that th next time they organise the awards, they will add them to the awards.

He also assured the invited guest of he, the head teacher and his staff trying all possible means to make sure Bole Senior High School becomes the best of all next time when the are ranking schools in Ghana.

Rev. Fr. Corlenius Begua Termaghre said he has been transferred from Tuna to Bole and is ready to make the people of Bole proud.

The head teacher finally said that each student got a school bag, Mathematical set and a calculator and that the overall student for each of the classes got citations in addition.

The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area in a speech delivered by one his sub-chiefs Simaliyiri- Wura Kipo said Bolewura was a teacher in Bole Senior High 1979 and committed at all times to support the school.

Bolewura urged the students to continue learning hard to make Bole proud one. He said there are presidents, Ministers, Memebers of Parliament (MP’s) and District Chief Executives (DCE”s) amongst them in future.

The Bolewura said;
“As a former teacher of this school in 1979, it means a lot to me. I taught at this school as the Head of English Department and I was so proud of my former students”.

Bolewura further commended the Headmaster, Staff and students for their academic achievements.

He said;
“I was proud when I heard Bole Senior High School placed first in Savannah during the 2020 WASSCE Examination and I was also glad to learn that a 2nd Year student of the Bole Senior High School Samuel Addae has been selected to represent Nothern Ghana for the 4th Ghana Science Olympiad (GSO) after placing 12 out of 120 students from the
Northern Zone Senior High schools during the 1st phase of the competition.

I Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I and the entire Traditional Council would be delighted to see the performance increase this year especially from the Girls”; he added.

The Chairperson of the forum Gbansiga Kansawurche Hajia Ajara Bukari in her closing remarks, urged all students to be serious with their books to send Savannah back to those days where people in the Southern sector always want to bring their children to the North to school.

Kansawurche also encouraged the students to be discipline in all their dealings in school and also respect the authorities of the school

She also commended the school for awarding 120 students for performing well this year and also motivated them to win more awards next year.

She said Science is not for men only to study but for the ladies too. She said because what men can do, women can do better too.
