The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency who is also the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated 5 bags of rice, a bull, a gallon of cooking oil as well as 60 crates of Malta Guinness as his contribution towards the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Damongo Senior High School slated to take place on Saturday 27th November, 2021.
Hon Jinapor made the donation through Mr Ayuba Seidu, leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency and also an assistant headmaster of the school and Mr Issahaku Majeed Porous, former constituency youth Organiser of the party.
Presenting the items to the school at a short ceremony, Mr Ayuba on behalf of the MP said Hon Abu Jinapor has asked him to present the food items and drinks to the school as his support for their 50th anniversary which he himself would be present for the Anniversary durbar on Saturday.
Recieving the donation in the presence of some old students of the school, Headmistress of Damongo Senior High School Madam Mercy Alugba Ewuntomah on behalf of the staff and students of the school thanked the MP for the kind gesture and assured him of using the items for their intended purposes.

Alhaji Shayibu Adam on behalf of the old students association commended the Damongo MP for all that he has been doing for the school.
He said they school will prepare a free delicious meal for all the students and share the Malta Guinness among the students on Friday 26th November, 2021 with another meal expected to be prepared on Saturday the durbar day where old students would be dining with the current students.
Hon Jinapor has over the years supported the school including the donation of a Nissan pickup, street lighting system and a tricycle to the dinning Hall of the school.
