A new Management Committee of the Bole Traditional area Customary Land Secretariat (CSL) has been inaugurated on 15th January, 2020 to improve land management and administration in the Bole Traditional area.

The inauguration was done by the Administrator of the Stool Lands for the Northern Region, Savannah and North East Regions Mr Daniel Acheampong at the premises of the Bole Traditional Council Customary land Secretariat.

Speaking exclusively to Bole based Nkilgi FM after the inauguration, Mr Acheampong said the Bole Customary Land Secretariat has been dormant but through the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (II), the office has been reopened with a new land management committee inaugurated and a Customary Land Secretariat Coordinator appointed.

He further said;
“The office takes effect immediately after this inauguration they have started work and everyone who has land issue within the Bole Traditional area can come to the Secretariat and operate business” adding that “the office is coming to work in the interest of everyone and to improve on land administration in the Traditional area and so anyone who jas any land challenge or need a piece of land can contact the Bole Traditional area Land Customary Secretariat”.

Mr Acheampong also disclosed that the office of the Administrator of Stool lands has opened its office in Bole and the function of the office is to ensure that all rent, dues, royalties on land are paid”.

The Chairman of the Management Committee of the Bole Traditional area Customary Land Secretariat Kiyigbon-asewura (Kilampobile) E.D. Mahama said the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has given them the mandate to see to lands administration in the Bole Traditional area and that their doors are opened to all residents of Bole and that they will work with fairness and effectiveness.

He entreated the people of the Bole Traditional area to deal with the newly appointed and inaugurated Coordinator of the Bole Traditional area Customary land Secretariat Kodanyiwura Langa Osman and also said the outgone Coordinator Mr Seidu Jeremiah will do an official handing over to the new Coordinator soon.

The Chairman of the Management Committee of the Bole Traditional area Customary Land Secretariat Kiyigbon-asewura (Kilampobile) E.D Mahama said the Bole Traditional area Customary Land Secretariat office will make it easy for one to acquire lands for development, renew old documents and pay ground rents.

He mentioned members of the Management Committee of the Bole Traditional Area Customary Land Secretariat as he Kiyigbon-asewura ED Mahama (Chairman); Kodanyinawura Langa Osman (Coordinator Bole CLS); Tunawura Mumuni Isaac Dramani (Member); Kunfusiwura Saaka Awusi (Member) Simaliyiriwura Kotomah Kipo (Member); Doliwura Mahama Seidu (Member) and Kamankpesiwura Natomah Kasei (Member).

Other members Kiyigbon-asewura mentioned are Mr Haruna Abudulai Obey (Member); Manfulwurche Nana Hawa Sulemana (Member); Dasagawurche Hajia Zuwera Zakariah (Member); Coordinating Director of Bole District Assembly (Member); the Coordinating Director Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly (Member); Mr Meshack Larbi (Physical Planner Bole District Assembly)- (Member) and Miss Yvonne Averu Badawie (Stool lands Administrator Bole)- (Member).

The Administrator of the Stool Lands for the Northern Region, Savannah and North East Regions Mr Daniel Acheampong was accompanied to Bole by the Chief Revenue Superintendent of the Administrator of the Stool Lands for the Northern Region, Savannah and North East Regions Mr
Ibrahim Aboya Mohammed.
