The Chief of Damongo markets Chief Dari Abdulai Kantara aka “Show Boy” or “Aremeyaw Anas the stubborn Cat” has received a bicycle from the management of Bole based Nkilgi FM.

Chief Kantara who over the weekend had his bicycle stolen in the Damongo Saturday market in an interview said he will deal with the thieves in his own way if the bicycle is not returned.

General manager of Bole based Nkilgi FM Mr Mahama Haruna who heard the plight of Chief Kantara bought the bicycle at a cost of GHc320 through Zion Abdul-Rauf, the Damongo correspondent of the radio station.

Chief Kantara upon receiving the bicycle thanked Mr Mahama Haruna and the staff of Nkilgi FM for the honour than him.

He said he was the happiest person since the bicycle will help him in his movement and promised to be in Bole next week to thank the General manager for the kind gesture.

He also said the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional area Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) is his bossom friend who he believes will be the first person to thank Nkilgi FM even before he storms Bole.

He added that just as the Bole chief is in charge of Bole, he Chief Kantara also owns Damongo.
