People marketing and embarking on brisk business at the Busunu market this afternoon (Friday 22nd May, 2020) got scattered and run into the bushes after they mistook some men in uniform as Operation Vanguard Soldiers.
People of all ages were seen running for their lives, monies got missing, kids got wounded, items on display couldn’t be accounted for. Many men left their motorbikes and took to their heels.
Many of the market men and women have since not returned to their normal businesses.
