The Savannah Regional Minister Hon. Adam Salifu Braimah and the District Chief executive (DCE) for West Gonja Hon Saeed Muazu Jibril yesterday 1st September, 2019 paid a visit to the home of Mr Asumah Driver whose house got burnt down at Damongo to have first hand information of the extent of damage and to see to it that Mr Asumah Driver get assistance.

They Regional Minister and the DCE for West Gonja promised to assist Mr Asumah remedy the calamity that has befallen him.

Fire gutted the house of Mr Asumah, a driver with the West Gonja District Assembly two days afo raising down about seven (7) of his rooms in the Yagbon Residential area of Damongo. Residents looked on helplessly as the entire house  burnt down.

The Fire Service Station in Damongo could not come to the scene because their fire tender had broken down at the time of the incident.

Meanwhile the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for Damongo Samuel Jinapor yesterday presented three (3) packets of zinc and a cash of 1,000 Ghana cedis to Mr Asumah. Presenting the items on behalf of the NPP candidate Jinapor, the NPP Secretary for the Damongo constituency Mr Musah Kusubari said the news of the accident came as a shock to many people including the NPP Parliamentary candidate who has promised to visit him personally anytime he comes down to Damongo.

Mr Asumah thanked  Mr Jinapor for his support during this trying times for him.
