The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for the Obuasi East Constituency in the Ashanti region, Mr Samuel Aboagye has tasked electorates especially in the Savannah region to vote work extra hard by putting out more efforts to clinch a one touch victory for the party in the December polls.

Speaking exclusively to Bole based Nkilgi FM shortly after the launch of his campaign at the weekend, Mr Aboagye said the wind of change is blowing even in the strong holds of the NPP which is an indication of the victory of the party come December for John Dramani Mahama to continue with his good works towards the development of the country.

Samuel Aboagye, born in Gonjaland, has therefore urged the people of the Savannah Region to vote for John Mahama since he needs to beat President Nana Addo very convincingly in the Savannah region.

Several speakers including the running mate to John Mahama took turns to address the enthusiastic crowd gathered at the campaign launch and assured electorates of the commitment and developmental agenda of the next John Mahama government which will transform Ghana.

She described Mr Aboagye as her son who she is believes will change the face of Obuasi when given the nod and further appealed especially to the women to come out in their numbers to vote since this is the time for them with her as the next vice president of the Republic of Ghana..

National Chairman of the NDC, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo also in an address spoke to the people especially those involved in mining activities to vote out the NPP since they have failed them and again described the number of people in the government of the NPP as elephant sized who are only into debt accumulation without nothing to show.
