Aspiring Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Damongo Constituency of the Savannah Region, Mr David Tiki Dange has presented quantities of face masks to the Staff and people living in the Mole National Park in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region on 26th May, 2020.
Presenting the masks to officials of the Park, Mr Tiki said he found it very necessary to present the items to the rangers following the outbreak of the Corvid-19 pandemic since anytime soon, there is the likelihood of the coming of tourist into the park when the ban on International travel is lifted.
He said he even though what he was presenting was not enough, he still finds it very necessary to donate to them since they have very close contact with people from all walks of life.
Assistant Park Manager for the Mole National Park, Mr Bonah on behalf of the staff commended Mr Dange for the kind gesture and urged him to continue the good works.
Mr Tiki later interacted with the people in the park and advised them to follow the basic principles of protection since the disease has no known cure.
At Damongo on 27th May, 2020, Mr Tiki Dange met with People Living with Disability (PLWD) and presented some face masks to them to prevent themselves against the COVID-19 and as well presented mini bags of rice and cooking oil to them.
Using American superstar Steven Wonder as an example, Mr Tiki Dange urged the Disabled to believe in all that they are doing since disability is not inability.
Mr Joshua Dramani, President of the People Living with Disability on behalf of his people thanked Mr Dange do being there for them.
He said Mr Tiki is God -sent and recounted how he assisted them during the fasting period by presenting some quantities of Sugar and Milo to them.
Mr Dramani said Mr Tiki Dange is the only politician who has them at heart and will do everything possible to make his people support him fully.
Mr Tiki Dange has also pledged to donate plastic chairs to them after an appeal was made to him to help them with chairs.
