Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has promised to work on the road leading to Kulaw in his next government.

John Dramani Mahama made this promise on day one of in his 2-Day tour of the Savannah Region which started Saturday 5th, October 2024.

According to John Dramani Mahama he visited the Paramount Chief of Kulaw Traditional Area at his palace, and the Kulaw-wura told him they are facing a lot of challenges including health facilities and electricity in some of the communities in his traditional area.

John Dramani Mahama added that but the most worrying problem they have is the road and if he becomes President again, he will work on it.

He said; “I used the road and I can tell you it is very bad and I am assuring you I will do it for you when I am made president again”

He added that everybody in Ghana is suffering now, but only the NPP people are pretending things are well and deceiving Ghanaians to vote for them again. But Ghanaians can now testify between the weight of “alcohol and water”.

Former President John Mahama said he came to the Kulaw Traditional area to have first information on the needs of the people of area and assured them that when he is made President again he will work on the road for them.

He urged the people of Kulaw traditional Area to vote for him massively and also vote for Hajia Zuwera Ibrahima who he introduced formally to the people as the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Salaga South Constituency.

The Member of Parliament (MP) and Parliamentary candidate for the Salaga South constituency Hon Hajia Ibrahima Zuwera said she is very grateful to the people of Kulaw Traditional Area for their support since 2020.

Hajia Zuwera stated that she cannot mention all the things she has done in the area and thay most wad because of the support of John Dramani Mahama.

The Salaga South NDC Parliamentary candidate some of things he donated were from former President John Dramani Mahama and his wife Mrs Lordina Mahama and mentioned motor bikes and delivery beds for their CHPS compound from Mrs Lordina Mahama as well as a telecom network by former President John Dramani Mahama.

She then appealed to the people of Kulaw traditional area to vote massively for her and for President Mahama for them to work together and bring development to the area.
